Coleraine Earn Easy Win
19 May 2011

Dromore were defeated 4-0 away to Coleraine in what was a poor performance all round. There were few chances in the opening half but 25 minutes into the match Coleraine had the perfect chance to take the lead, but from 6 yards out they somehow missed with the goal at their mercy. Five minutes later Dromore almost took the lead, an Amy-Louise corner was directed goalwards by Laura Magowan but was well blocked on the line.

Only minutes before half time Coleraine took the lead with their number 11 causing havoc down the left she sent in a cross and Amanda Morton could only direct it goal wards for an og. The second half began as the first ended as once again the Coleraine number 11 ran down the left before cutting inside, and easily finishing to make it 2-0. With that Laura Stewart made her exit after her first appearance of the season and was replaced by Michelle.

Dani Creaney almost scored her 3rd of the season soon after but her attempted shot was well blocked by the defender but Coleraine went straight from defence to attack, once again by the number 11 who ran through the Dromore defence and finished off to Tracy Orrs near post. It only got worse for Dromore as what was a weak shot was dropped above her head by Tracy Orr to make it 4-0 to Coleraine.

Jill and Dani Creaney both had opportunities before the end to add a bit of respect to the score line but it wasn't to be as Coleraine ran out deserved winners. If Dromore want to have any hope of promotion they will need to improve drastically for the visit of Cliftonville next week but they should hope to have last years top goal scorer Kerry Taggart back.
