For the first time the local Banbridge district teams have agreed to take part in a mini pre season tournament.

In the first round of matches Dromore came up against Banbridge Town Ladies winning 3-1 with goals coming from Amy McAllister (2) and Emma Harper. 

In an even first half it took a bit of brilliance from Amy McAllister as she came off the bench to pick up the ball in the middle of the park before taking the ball forward and unleashing a shot from 30 yards to open to scoring. She then doubled Dromore Ladies lead with a cross-cum-shot from wide on the right. 

Banbridge got back into the game with some slack defending before Emma Harper scored her second in two games from 18 yards out to seal the result.

In the other game Moneyslane were defeated 8-0 by Banbridge Rangers.

Hopefully Dromore will play Banbridge Rangers on Friday in the 'final' but will be confirmed asap.
