@ DALFC.  Dunfermline Athletic Ladies FC

History

Established in 1999 as Hawcraig United LFC, the club quickly climbed the divisions and in 2003 gained affiliation with Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.  With this proud affiliation has come a renewed focus and energy into building links within the community and the youth teams.  In 2012, the team won promotion by winning the SWFL Division 2 East, and now compete in SWFL Division 1 North, and this summer, the Ladies Club established new initiatives with DAFC to develop girls football in the area.   As part of the link up, the Ladies Football Team wear the Official DAFC Kit for their matches, and are also linked through DAFC's official/social media channels.

Our Season

The SWFL season is based on the Scandanavian model from February to October, with a mid season break.

Progression and development

The Club has 114 registered players at the start of the 2019 season with an established player pathway from U9s Tigers through to the Ladies.  This season also marks the introduction of our development team "The 21's", playing in the 2nd Division.
