We caught up with Ellie this week and got her thoughts on last weekends game against East Fife and this weekends upcoming fixture against Dryburgh.
Q: We faced a really strong team against East Fife and shown we could hold our own and keep it even in the first half. What do you think the team done right in the first 45 mins.
A: In the first half as a squad we performed well and can take a good amount of positives away from the encounter. I think that as a team we demanded the ball, and pressed high allowing us to stand equal against a strong side.
Q: On the flip side, in the first 20 mins of the second half we struggled to keep up, why do you think this is and what do you think went wrong ?
A: In the second half subs and formational changes were made and we just couldn’t seem to get settled back into the game like we had in the first half. As a team we will come together to discuss the game and identify what we need to work on going into future games.
Q: We’ve got another hard fixture this weekend against Dryburgh, What do the ladies need to do to bounce back and keep focused on this fixture ?
A: Going into the next game as always we have to have confidence and the desire to get the win. It is important that as a team we learn from previous games and become a stronger squad as a result.
